The People
Husband and wife Ramon and Melissa Alvarez are the key executives and directors of the Share Ministry. Below are highlights of their accomplishments and diverse background that uniquely qualifies them to manage the initiatives of the organization. Together, they work hand-in-hand in restoring Christian faith in people by reinforcing the belief that as Christian citizens, we not only have the opportunity, but the responsibility to go beyond money and use our resources in ways that will empower communities and touch the lives of people that are in need.
Mr. and Mrs. Alvarez are community leaders that are taking action using their life and business experiences in building a foundation of an organization that will always be motivated to serve all those who are in need.

Melissa Alvarez, Executive Director. Mrs. Alvarez is a true community leader. She has been instrumental in developing the Share Ministry while coordinating fundraisers for local schools, soccer teams, and has led the voluntary effort for "Toys 4 Joy," a Christmas giving event and clothing distribution to over 3,500 people each year since 2006.
A devout Christian, Mrs. Alvarez attended 4 semesters of seminary school at the Southern California Seminary. A mother of two daughters, she grew up and lives in San Diego, California.

Ramon Alvarez, Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Alvarez has been involved in business and operations over the last ten years. At a young age of 20 and born with an entrepreneurial spirit, he invested his personal savings to start a taco shop in 1999. Through hard work and persistence, that taco shop is now Los Primos, an 18-restaurant chain in Southern California that employs over 100 people.
Mr. Alvarez is actively developing and growing his business and is responsible in managing the day-to-day activities. He recognizes that his success is a blessing and continues to give back to his community through the Share Ministry and other personal initiatives.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful
and concerned citizens can change the world.
Indeed it's the only thing that ever has."
Margaret Mead
